DCAVS Membership FAQs
- Is membership by individual or agency and how much does it cost?
DCAVS membership can be for an individual or an agency. The cost
is the same for either, $35.00 for the calendar year,
January-December. If an agency joins, it’s a cost savings for the
agency. Two agency staff members maximum will be delegated as the
official DCAVS member contacts on the membership form, but the agency
can have as many volunteer administration staff they have attend and
participate in DCAVS programs and functions throughout the year for the
DCAVS member fee.
- If I join DCAVS later in the year, say July or after, do I still need to pay $35.00?
No, a prorated half year membership can be requested if joining after June 30.
- If I join DCAVS later in year, do I still need to renew by January 1?
Yes.
Memberships are not prorated or retroactive based on the time of year
an individual or agency joins. Membership is standard for the
calendar year, January-December, so renewal will always need to be by
January 1 of the following year.
